MISCHIEF Yacht Refit - Inside Ahoy Club’s Transformation Of A 2006 Baglietto Icon
MISCHIEF Refit - How Ahoy Club Turned a 2006 Classic Into Australia’s Largest Charter Yacht
If you like your superyachts with serious pedigree and a fresh-from-the-yard feel, MISCHIEF checks every box. Originally delivered in 2006, this Baglietto icon went through a full-scale makeover led by Ahoy Club to modernize systems, refresh every guest space, and sharpen her presence on the water. The result is a big, crowd-pleasing charter platform with the polish and performance today’s guests expect.
MISCHIEF started life as a semi-displacement luxury yacht with an aluminum superstructure, then underwent an extensive refit in 2020 guided by Ahoy Club. That program wasn’t cosmetic. It rethought how guests move, relax, and entertain on board, laying the groundwork for MISCHIEF’s status as Australia’s largest charter yacht.
Design collaboration that brightens every deck
Engineering and exterior work you can feel
Beneath the style is a lot of substance. The team optimized major engineering systems and added quality installations to deliver a tight, like-new ride. Outside, the decks were recaulked and sanded, the superstructure and hull were polished, and the deck Jacuzzi was painted white to keep outdoor spaces feeling airy and fresh. The combination brings back that showroom sparkle the moment you step aboard.Layout and cabin upgrades for real-life chartering
Guest comfort got a serious lift. MISCHIEF gained smarter cabin arrangements and thoughtful interior tweaks that matter on a week-long trip. Think new carpets and a refreshed master layout, twin cabins converted to doubles for more flexibility, white-painted ceiling panels to amplify natural light, refinished wall panels, and marble inlays for an upscale finish. Inside, crisp reflective whites play against deep blues and blacks, with bold artwork that sets a playful tone. Why this refit hits different
The momentum hasn’t stopped
What guests say
The proof is in the charters. Recent reviews consistently call out attentive crews, standout dining, spacious decks and lounges, and the overall sense of easy luxury on board. It is the kind of feedback you only get when design, engineering, and service are pulling in the same direction.Related Articles
